I’ve always loved horses. I never asked for a pony like the movie stereotype, but I asked to ride every chance I got. Whether at my Aunt and Uncle’s ranch in Maryland or in the next town over at the riding stables, riding always seemed like a much more sensible way to move through nature in my opinion. This look makes me feel like I could hang with the equestrian team or look posh at dinner out with friends. I wore it to school on a cool Fall day and felt put together minus too much fuss. I was gifted this black London Fog peacoat from my mom a few Christmases ago, the button down is Ralph Lauren from a trip to the outlet mall on a family vacay, and the brown corduroys and boots have been with me for years and are two of my favorite staple pieces.  The necklace I’m wearing has a simple “A” engraved on it for Allison and, like my pearl ring, I wear daily.
