This week’s looks will feature black and white items to show that you don’t need color to have a fun outfit, but also, as a reminder that the world is never simply black and white.
Take this ensemble for instance. This Shein dress will have the same colors as outfits that come later in the week, but it cannot simply be described as black and white. It’s polka dot riddled, has bell sleeves, and fits the body. Similarly, life events usually take more than the simple facts to share the whole story. This idea pops up all the time in law school. Cases will seem straightforward, but as you dig deeper, you find that there is not so clear a winner and a wrongdoer. I hope this Black and White Period on EP will lead you to reflect on the nuance of everyday moments. Even when your life seems stale, I bet there’s more to the story. I paired this fun dress from Shein with knee-length, black leather, high-heeled boots, black tights, my black Kate Spade bag gifted from my sister, gold hoops from Target, and Chanel red lip stain.
Always,
Allison
